Ok.
Justin Timberlake.
You need to come to your senses.
And make music again.
That was really good when you sang on SNL about not singing on SNL, but...
I mean....come on, Justin....

Apparently.....
I subconsciously love The Plain White Tee's.
I'm not even going to expound upon that.

Like or Like Like?
Like Like.
So cute.
Ethan sent me that via text message today...I'm so glad that there is one more Belieber in the world now.
Great day of blogging for me.
Jesus and Justin Bieber.
Great day.
I just cried reading a bunch of those 'Damn you auto correct' things. Funny stuff right there. All thanks to the iPhone.
Gotta wake up early...hope I fall asleep better tonight. But first...gotta read some Bible, Runaways, and Harry Potter...my nightly excerpts for the time being.
Well then......G'night!

And the stars won't burn in a broken sky
Movie night with the doggies tonight.
laurenthevampireslayer signing off gently....
#1- "Despicable Me"
#2- "How to Train Your Dragon"
Nice calm night after a tiring day.
Favorite movie of the night:
"How to Train Your Dragon"
My mind is a little blank at the moment.
Excited to sleep in a bit tomorrow.
Also gonna eat some free fro-yo on my break tomorrow.
Need all stripes and flowers.
And antique pink.
Want to cross-stitch flowery things.
Want to have nice dreams.
Love dragons.
Love my knickknacks.
Love love.
Mind not blank at all.
Mind not blank at all.
Goodnight, all.

Wishing, and Hoping, and Thinking, and Praying.
So I thought about this shirt the other day, and hoped to the highest mountain that I could find it...and I DID! It wasn't very hard, actually, but still just as exciting!
Couldn't decide between calm and composed:
And super excited:
Either way, gotta have the thumbs up!
Well, as most of you know, I'm a single gal. And I probably talk about love, and relationships, and being single too much, but OH WELL. It happens, you know. But it's when I listen to songs like this one...
...that I get really excited about making memories with someone in the future. It makes me feel hopeful, and anxious even, about one day getting to spend nice days with a nice someone in the nice sunlight, and it will be....nice! And perfect. And sweet. And I can't wait for that. I'm all for making great memories with my amazing friends and family for now, but the thought of making them with that one other person, with whom you have a connection that no one can touch...I long for that, man. It's gonna be beautiful. And I'm gonna be patient, and just wait for it to come. Because nothing in the whole wide 'verse can stop it from happening! (except for The Big Guy, of course) I have to remind myself of that sometimes.
Well I guess I should be off...I got dessert in the oven, and my mama's about to come over to rid my porch gnomes of spider webs that I'm too afraid to go near! Thanks Mom!
Until next time...

Drunk on mini eggs...
Howdy-ho, rangers!
It's been quite a while since I've blogged, it seems.
That is no good. No bueno.
What is bueno is that I got to spend the past five days with two of my favorite people on the PLANET! They hail from Brisbane, Australia, and they are one of the sweetest, most gracious and encouraging couples that I have ever had the pleasure of knowing....and fun, to boot! We got to spend a lot of time together on this visit, and I am very grateful for that. Julie ministered at church on Friday night, and it felt a little bit like she had been living inside of my brain. She spoke about Looking Up...and being encouraged. She prayed for everyone that was feeling discouragement in their life at the time. She is always a very powerful speaker, and it was no different this time around. Her words (that night and also in conversations later on) sincerely encouraged me in several aspects of my life. I realized that I had pretty much given up all hope of my dreams and also had stopped even dreaming at all..because I had convinced myself that nothing would ever come to pass...since none of my previous dreams really have at this point in my life. But I can't give up on my dreams...and that is what this service made me remember.
I also found a new love in custard. Yes, custard. Delicious, warm (or cold), creamy, beautiful custard! I really do need to get back to Australia one of these days. And see more of New Zealand. Maybe go camping there...that would be nice.
In other news...guess who's gonna be free on the weekends and every night from now on?? Yep. THIS GIRL! I got the position that I wanted to move to at work. I am now a zoner and I will be working from 8-5pm Monday through Friday (except for on holidays)! Yipeeeeeee! Super pumped about this...and about actually doing something that I actually like doing within retail!
Oh-and I may just post a different picture affiliated with Harry Potter with every post from now until the new movie comes out (which looks absolutely amazing, may I add!). I'll start with one of my favorite old ones:
Life is good, y'all.
Life is good.

About Me
- laurenthevampireslayer
- I'm a quiet person if you don't know me. But I really have quite a bit to say, actually. I'm silly. I bite my hair. I love stories. I can't really listen to a song I know without singing it. I love laughing. I cry when I laugh.
