'I feel a little {gladness} on the inside of my chest'

I just haven't been able to contain the excitement that has been attempting to burst from my little heart lately!!
There are just so many exciting things going on this year...it's really, pretty, very amazing.

I can't wait to see my best good friend this weekend.
I can't stop thinking about our trip.
I can't wait for Comic Con.
I'm super duper excited to see Prom Date play their CD release show.
I am MEGA EXCITED about seeing my sister and her family in a couple months.
And on top of all of that...God has just been doing great things inside of my heart as well.
I couldn't be happier.

I love my friends.
I love my family.
I love my doggie.
And I love nachos.

N.Y.R.

A Room with a View -

I rather enjoyed this. It is most definitely the first slow British movie that I have ever encountered with a several minute scene composed of three dudes running around a pond stark naked. And I absolutely must include: Although Daniel Day Lewis didn't have the largest role...it was flawless, without a doubt.
A definite Must-NOT-See for all you British period film naysayers.

I found it a bit hard to get into this movie, but about halfway through I realized that it had captured me. I thought it was a beautiful film, although it was extremely slow and long. And there were lighting effects in there that I found to be interesting.

Wow. I thought that this movie was painfully good. And by that I mean that it was painful to watch most of the time, but it was ridiculously good. I gotta give it up to Christian Bale--dude knows how to play a crazy person. His acting skills are impeccable. And this is another example of that. Overall I just really liked how the movie was done. The gross, gritty feel of the whole thing. It was excellent.

Veggie Tales: Lord of the Beans

"Junior Asparagus plays wide-eyed flobbit Toto Baggypants in a charming take on The Lord of the Rings. The adventure begins when Toto inherits a magic bean. Determined to find its purpose, Toto and his friends embark into the realm of Lord Scaryman." I mean...if this isn't the best premise I've ever heard! And it was great! Very clever and funny, as usual.

The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo

Very good. I really didn't want to watch these movies until I had time to read through the books, but alas...I cannot break my resolution. So it had to be watched. And watched it was. Now I can't wait to watch the American one, because I heard they may have actually done a decent job. This one was great, though. The acting was also very good. It has several hard to watch scenes...so if you can handle that, then I would definitely recommend it. Especially if you like a good murder mystery.

Trolley Woodsville.

Well I do declare, I have a had a most productive/relaxing day.

Went to work for 5am and stayed almost 2 hours late.
Came home and ate and had a minor TV chill time.
Wrote for quite a while. (Thank goodness for waking up from almost sleepfulness to write down ideas so that they don't go down the rabbit hole!)
And now I'm steaming some broccoli and having a glass of white wine.
This drivel will be followed by more drivelry, but in the form of a delightful (or probably depressing) film from my Netflix Instant Queue (which you will surely be hearing about at the end of the week).
Oh. And there have been a few pieces of chocolate as well.

What a delightful afternoon.
I do so very much enjoy having a longer afternoon/evening period.

Goodness and goodnight!

And This Year...

I think I've finally thought of a New Year's Resolution.
I don't usually do them, but I thought that this one would be useful.

I'm gonna try and watch all of the movies on my Netflix Instant Queue from the beginning!
It's a heck of a lot...but I'm gonna try.
Many of the movies that I put on there just end up sitting there forever and ever.
And I know that I have wanted to watch each of them, at least a little, at one point or another.

I think that I'll document my progress on here. And maybe say a thing or two about each thing I watch...if it's warranted. Maybe I'll do it bi-monthly. That sounds nice.

So yes. That's the plan!

In other news... I hope that I can get on a sleep schedule this week with having to be at work at 5 am every day. I like the idea of having a longer afternoon/evening but it won't do me much good if I have to nap it away or if I feel crappy.

And I'll end with saying that it's about time for Time to fly!
C'mon, let's go!
Warp speed to April, please.

Trust.

"Trust Dreams.
Trust your heart,
and trust your story."
I'm so grateful for people that I can trust. And who encourage me all the time. I'm grateful for people not giving up on people for stupid reasons that aren't even their own. I'm grateful for good feedback. I'm grateful for the ones who point out the loopholes. I'm grateful for ideas to believe in. And great stories that transcend time. I'm grateful for finding things that you really enjoy doing and doing them. I'm grateful for Keira Knightley movies.

Lunch Break Post

So I decided that I will refuse to see myself as successful until I am able to begin a legitimate art collection. It's gonna be awesome. I already know which artist I would buy my first painting from. Probably just a print, but if I could get an original, I would do it in an instant!

Also.
I'm feeling more and more inspired by this woman each and every day!

Talk about believing in an idea!

About Me

My photo
I'm a quiet person if you don't know me. But I really have quite a bit to say, actually. I'm silly. I bite my hair. I love stories. I can't really listen to a song I know without singing it. I love laughing. I cry when I laugh.
